The internationally renowned Madrid sheep crossing! I had a front row seat in the Puerta del Sol and |

followed the flock through its entire route. One sheep herder told me that on this day everyone has a |

great time, except for the animals, too many kilometers for those hooves on hard paved streets. Unless |
||||||||||||||
|
the city changes its mind this year (2001) will have been the last time this centuries old tradition takes |
||||||||||||||
