In honor of Madrid's being chosen as the World Book Capital for 2001, the Puerta de Alcalá was given

a literal face lift (no pun intended, jejeje) during the Feria del Libro in May-June. Almost topped off

with literary delights wrapped in little plastic baggies, it was a sight to behold indeed. Another

fleeting moment captured forever.
